With a group of over 35 people we headed in a bus towards London. After arriving safely we checked into a hostel close to the center with tiny but tidy rooms, which were sufficient for the little amount of time we spent there. Since we only had five days in order to discover a city of international recognition for its diversity of cultures, uniqueness of history, and of course plenty of shopping opportunities, our schedule was packed accordingly, but the teachers managed a good balance between leisure time and cultural activities. The list ranged from the ancient Tower of London over Disney’s award-winning musical „The Lion King“, to „Jack the Ripper“, one of the most infamous serial-killers of all time, whose trace we tracked back. With this variety of events, a great group of students and teachers, and an amazing city this trip will never be forgotten.
